ABOUT THE EVENT

On Thursday, October 3, 2024, MLK Montessori School is bringing back its popular SmartStart Soirée. Community leaders, art lovers, and educational advocates will gather at Classic Café (4832 Hillegas Rd. Fort Wayne, IN 46818) for a one-of-a-kind fundraiser as we celebrate 56 years of building dreams. This unique evening will include a live auction featuring art pieces donated by phenomenal local and national artists, along with a curated wine-tasting of our custom private label red and white varieties. Attire is semi-formal to business casual. Theme is black and white. Registration opens at 6 p.m. Program begins promptly at 6:15 p.m.

About the Winery
Cultured Urban Winery, located in Anderson, Indiana, is a family-owned, Black-owned farmhouse winery founded in 2021. Known for blending tradition with innovation, they craft exceptional wines by sourcing grapes from both local Indiana vineyards and internationally renowned regions. Led by Dr. Treva Bostic, an award-winning vintner and advocate for race, equity, and inclusion, the winery is dedicated to not only producing world-class wines but also revitalizing their local community. As part of their mission, they engage the public in wine tastings, cultural events, charitable partnerships, and more.
