ABOUT THE EVENT
We are thrilled to announce that on Thursday, October 11, 2018, MLK Montessori School will be hosting its second annual SmartStart Soirée. We invite community leaders, art lovers, and educational advocates to gather as we celebrate our 50th anniversary at this one-of-a-kind fundraiser. Community leaders, art lovers, and educational advocates will gather for a unique evening that will include an auction featuring collaborative art pieces donated by phenomenal local and national artists, paired with the artworks of MLK students.
Tickets are $50 per person
or $380 for a table of 8.

OUR CAUSE
Did you know that, when they enter kindergarten, children from low-income families typically perform far behind their more advantaged peers – both socially and academically? This puts them at an immediate disadvantage that stunts their potential and costs society. A quality preschool education stops this achievement gap in its tracks.
