Thank you to our Community Partners
MLK Montessori thanks the amazing people in our community that have made Christmas special this year for our students and staff. Whittle Strategic Accounting started our season with a beautiful Christmas tree donated to the Festival of Trees which was brought home to the school for students and staff to enjoy. The (at least) ten foot tree was adorned top to bottom in teddy bears and floor to boughs was filled with books.
This inspired our, “A book, a bear and a blanket” gifts that students received with these and donated crocheted blankets from The Volunteer Center. Each child left with a special gift bag after their Christmas Carolling filled with a friend, a story and a snuggly blanket.
Select students and families also received gifts from donor organizations and individuals from The Christmas Bureau, The Lincoln Financial African American Business Resource Group and Mrs. Helen Wiggins.
We thank all who helped make this another special year for our MLK Montessori family.
